3 Skills Every Creator Needs in 2025

Let’s not overcomplicate it—if you want to win as a personal brand or content creator in 2025, master these three things, and you’ll be in the top 5%.

Seriously. That’s it.

This week, I dropped a video breaking it down, but here’s the condensed version if you’re short on time:

🔑 1. Create Easy-to-Consume Content

We’ve all scrolled past videos with bad lighting, echoey audio, or blurry visuals—and never looked back. That’s because quality is the bare minimum now.

If your content isn’t easy to consume, people won’t stick around long enough to hear your message, no matter how valuable it is.

Here’s what to focus on:

  • Good lighting – Natural light or a softbox can instantly level up your look.

  • Clear audio – Invest in a mic. Bad audio is an instant switch-off.

  • Sharp visuals – High-quality visuals are important, but don’t dismiss your phone. If you get the above two things right then you’ll be just fine.

Pro tip: Your content reflects your business. If it looks low-effort, that’s exactly how your service will feel to a potential client.

💭 2. Be Insightful, Not Just Valuable

"Value" content is everywhere. Tips, tricks, advice... It's all been said before.

What cuts through the noise is insight—a deeper understanding of the problem your audience is facing and how you can uniquely solve it.

Insightful content shows you get it. It positions you as the expert and builds trust fast.

Instead of just saying “Consistency is key,” say:
"Here’s the 3-step process I use to create a week’s worth of content in one hour."

That’s insight. That’s action. And that’s what converts viewers into leads.

🎯 3. Hook Like It’s the Only Thing That Matters

Because… it kind of is.

If your hook doesn’t stop the scroll in 2 seconds, the rest of your content might as well not exist. It’s harsh, but it’s true.

You need:

  • A strong opening line

  • Movement, energy, or visual triggers

  • Curiosity without clickbait

Think about it this way: people aren’t here to be educated—they’re here to be distracted. If you want to teach them something, you have to win their attention first.

Final Thoughts

There’s a reason these three things work—because they’re based on how people behave online.

When you combine quality, insight, and attention-grabbing hooks, you’re not just creating content—you’re building a brand that people want to follow, buy from, and tell others about.

🎥 I broke all of this down in a short-form video—watch it over on Instagram if you missed it.

If you’re serious about taking your content game up a level, make sure you’re part of my online community.

See you in the next one.
